UGH

Sorry for this post but I need to vent a little bit.

I confronted one of my friends tonight on Facebook about her trash talking Carolina. And what happened? SHE GOT MAD AT ME. She can’t even stand up and protect her comments! She says the conversation is done when I’ve basically only asked her why she’s doing it!! She can hate Carolina, I don’t care about that because I hate Clemson. But she doesn’t need to only bash Carolina and not congratulate Arizona on winning. Yeah, that’s all she’s done. Bash bash bash Carolina. I thought I knew this person, but I obviously don’t know her at all. This is also the same person who claims that all Carolina fans are trashy and all Clemson fans are classy. Remember this, YOU chose to go to Clemson home to the ACC Champs and I chose to go to Carolina home of the 2-time NATIONAL CHAMPIONS (I don’t care that I’m talking about 2 different sports).

And apparently I can’t confront anyone without getting my head torn off. I guess I must be that bad of a person. How can we live in a world where we can’t speak what’s on our mind, to speak honestly and truthfully?

Again I congratulate Arizona. Carolina will be back in Omaha next season ready to take on everyone! Good luck to all teams next season (including Clemson).

Sad Day and a Confusing Thing

Well, no three-peat for the Carolina Gamecocks. However, congratulations to the Arizona Wildcats on their CWS National Championship! First one since 1986 (in baseball only I guess, I don’t fully know because I wasn’t paying full attention being upset that Carolina lost), but still congratulations, ya’ll worked super hard to get that championship.

Now, on to a slightly more upsetting note.

Clemson fans. Some of ya’ll have called us Carolina fans TRASHY because of the trash talk that both sides commit during our RIVALRY games. Now we lose the championship this year and ya’ll want to start trash talking us? That’s not very classy of ya’ll, as ya’ll claim to be. I’ve congratulated Arizona on Facebook, Twitter, and here on Tumblr. On Facebook and Twitter, I have yet to see a post saying something like “Congrats Arizona on the championship win and congrats Carolina on having a good run (and then having something supportive for Clemson).” One of the posts that I’ve seen is even about our season mascot Reptar. “Flush the Fish.” Yeah, that is REALLY classy of you to say that. What makes matters worse is that Clemson didn’t even make it to Omaha because Carolina beat them in the regional. Ya’ll always say that ya’ll are the best and yet the Gamecocks CONSISTENTLY beat your sorry little butts. You won the ACC Championship in football this year: Congratulations on that. We only started talking trash in football (besides the rivalry game because, as noted above, both sides trash talk) AFTER ya’ll had lost to West Virginia in the bowl game. The reason is because ya’ll were the ACC Champs and you didn’t live up to that. On to baseball: ya’ll still claimed to be the best and yet we beat ya’ll, clearly showing ya’ll who really is the best. Don’t trash talk us after a championship game when ya’ll didn’t even make it as far as we did. If any of ya’ll see this and get mad at me, then so be it. I’m speaking the truth, figuratively I’m speaking because obviously I’m typing and everyone who sees this is reading. But seriously, don’t call us trashy when we congratulate who ever wins and don’t call yourselves “classy” when ya’ll talk trash about whoever loses (especially when it’s Carolina).

Here’s an appropriate Doctor Who tie-in to all this Clemson crap going on:

Oh and Columbia, SC is home of THE University OF South Carolina. It says so in the name. Clemson University. Yeah that name doesn’t have “the” or “of” in that name.

GO GAMECOCKS!!!

And one more thing

Why are you even talking about Carolina losing when ya’ll didn’t even make it to Omaha? (Yea, I rehashed this, so what?)

I Must Let You All Know

As you may have been able to tell already, I am a South Carolina Gamecocks fan. It goes farther than that though. I AM a Gamecock. I’ve chosen the right school for me and couldn’t be happier (well, I could be happier, but the amount of happiness I have right now will suffice). Anyways, the Gamecocks have just beaten Arkansas and are on their way to the College World Series Finals for the third year in a row. Now it’s time to take that back-to-back championships and turn it into a Three-Peat. I know they can do it because they are Gamecocks from THE University of South Carolina.

GO COCKS!!!!

GAME…

An Idea I Must Ponder

I’m sitting here, on my nice comfy bed, watching the South Carolina Gamecocks-Arkansas Razorback baseball game (GO COCKS!) on ESPN 3 (would be on an actual TV if I felt like getting up) and I start thinking of an idea. This idea is something I’ve been thinking about for the past week. In fact, I’ve been thinking about it for a little while now. The idea, you ask? Well, it’s to re-read the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. I don’t really like to re-read books because I already know what is going to happen in them, but I haven’t read this particular series since the books were coming out. So, it’s been a fairly long time since I’ve read the first book. I’ve been in the biggest mood to read this series since Tuesday night…well, to be honest, since Wednesday morning around 2:30 when I finished The Golden Lily. What do you think? Should I re-read this series?

Fair Warning

The Carolina Gamecocks will be playing either Coastal or Clemson after these 2 teams finish their current game. The loser (hoping it’s Clemson) will be eliminated from the tournament and the other (hoping it’s Coastal) will be play the back to back National Champions, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. Either way the team who wins the current game is going to be very tired when they get to playing Carolina.

IF Carolina plays Clemson, and IF Carolina wins, I will be posting a bunch more Carolina things. I’ve always hated Clemson and this hate is even bigger now that I am a student at USC.

All in all, GO COCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
